Octavius Regional Civil Engineering – Leadership Team Appointments

January 31, 2024
Building Our Team2

The acquisition, and subsequent progression of R&W Civil Engineering Limited into Octavius Regional Civil Engineering (ORCE), brought with it an extremely strong team at all levels.

Part of the ongoing integration involves aligning key members of the existing R&W Civil Engineering management team into strategic roles within ORCE to maintain the R&W solid leadership legacy. So, it gives us great pleasure to announce the transition of the following people into their leadership positions within the business: Chris Ellis as Delivery Director; Ben Race as Lead Commercial Manager and Matthew Cooper as Pre-Construction Manager.

Chris joined R&W Civil Engineering in 2018 and quickly progressed to Operations Manager across a diverse range of highways and public realm projects.

Ben has 21 years’ experience in forecasting, cost control and budget management, and the last six years as Commercial Manager with R&W Civil Engineering.

Matthew started his career with R&W Civil Engineering in 2015 as an Estimator, delivering a variety of successful tenders and bid proposals, and culminating in his promotion to Pre-Construction Manager in 2021.

Managing Director Gavin Pritchard comments “This strategic realignment of these key roles and responsibilities reinforces the quality and reliability of this team’s service delivery, together with the value we place on the ongoing continuity of their working relationships with our customers. I hope you will join me in wishing them every success in their new roles”.
