Gade Valley Viaduct – Offline ‘Mock ups’ benefit Customer outcomes
Gade-Last-bolt-ceremony-1

About the project

With vehicle numbers increasing at 7% per annum, and the estimated cost of motorway lane closures at £50,000, undertaking essential improvements to the Strategic Road Network requires agile thinking for safe and predictable scheme delivery.

Embarking on major rehabilitation to the Gade Valley Viaduct, a 400m long, 11 span, 8 lane box girder structure on the M25, the challenge was to develop a safe repeatable technical solution that could be installed with the motorway fully open to traffic.
